EFML:Needle in a haystack

So much for the OCD'ed categorization of every article I write.Looks like EMFL is the only category that's getting more articles:) I swore to do something productive this weekend as opposed to spending it in deep slumber as is my way.For this so-called productive activity,I needed to find a LAN cable,a micro SD card and a card reader. The LAN cable was the easiest.Ditto for the card reader--in fact I found two. Here's the point where I tell you that I'm a very organised person. Not a quote unquote conventionally organised one,but methodical nevertheless.I mean to say,if you walk in to my room,it may not be the epitome of neatness, but I can find any given item in under a minute.I believe in this adage that says organisation implies being able to find every single thing even in pitch darkness. There's one hindrance to my high ideals though.Which is my appalling memory.I can't remember worth a damn. It's been quite a while since I've been thinking...

EFML:Misadventures in a Concrete Jungle

My life has metamorphosed into a meaningless cycle of staring at computer screens, travel, meals and sleep(this being the high point of any given day). So you find me here, standing in a ramshackle bus where the driver seems to think he's taking us all on an adventure ride of sorts--he brakes, he swerves, he overtakes, he honks--while woebegone passengers like me cling onto poles and hand supports hoping to keep all our bones intact. Amidst this chaos, I attempt to write. You know how good this piece is going to be now ;) Honestly though, if I don't write today, I'm not going to tomorrow either. Not going to write for a couple more months. Therefore I write today, risking a fracture or phone damage :p This one's going to be on the lighter side.  There are these people in the world who will get into borderline embarrassing, retrospectively hilarious misadventures the moment they land up at a new place. Yours truly is one of the chosen few. My first day of work beg...

EFML:Quirks of fate

Hello,my blog.Long time no write. We've become familiar strangers:) Are we all destined to make certain choices in life?Is everything we do part of a greater plan?Is choice an oxymoron?Because if you think of it,how you choose is already programmed into you, meaning that there's only one possible outcome. The other "choices" life offers you are just red-herrings.In reality,it's a Hobson's choice. These are questions I sometimes ponder upon. I'm an agnostic when it comes to destiny.I haven't yet decided if I believe in it or not. But,there are those times in your life when you feel like everything in the universe is pushing you to do something right? This is about one of those incidents. It almost makes me believe.Almost. Recently,I've come up with this habit of not noticing the date.It makes life more binary and less fuzzy:P As a result,I had no idea of the date until a mail mentioning some date dropped in and I actually looked at the calendar to g...
